Christ the King Oktoberfest 2010

LEXINGTON, KY – Get ready to celebrate Christ the King Oktoberfest: Friday, September 24, 4 PM – 11 PM, and Saturday, September 25, 11 AM – 11 PM, Oktoberfest will take place on the grounds of Christ the King School and Cathedral Center, located on the corner of Romany and Cochran Roads in Chevy Chase. Everyone is welcome and admission is free.
Attractions include: Great German food and beverages; people can purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win their choice of a new 2011 Toyota Camry, a new 2011 Toyota Prius, a new 2011 Toyota Rav-4 or $25,000 cash; blackjack and bingo; and there will be plenty of rides, kids crafts and games will keep the younger crowd occupied.
One of the most popular events at Oktoberfest is Attics Treasures, which will be held one week before Oktoberfest. Thursday, September 16, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, there will be a special “Early Bird Sale,” with a ticket admission price of $20 per person. After the “Early Bird Sale,” Attics Treasures will be open Friday, September 17, 8 AM – 8 PM; Saturday, September 18, 8 AM – 8 PM; and Sunday, September 19, 1 PM – 5 PM. There is no charge to shop the Attics Treasures Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The live music is one of the most eagerly anticipated attractions at Oktoberfest. This year, people can enjoy everything from classic rock to Bluegrass.
